Great Location!

This place is just a minute walk from the city centre. 🚶

We really enjoyed that good old hotel. Unbeatable very central location near shops and restaurants as well as restaurants. It also was on a lovely residential street 5 minutes from downtown.

We found The 1885 Suites to be very comfortable, quiet and convenient. The suites are lovely and each one has its own personality. The downtown is only a few steps away and the neighborhood is very pleasant to walk through. Would recommend.

The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The suite itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed. I especially loved the comfortable bed and the great shower. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room, from the fully equipped kitchen to the extra touches like beer mugs in the freezer. The dedicated parking on site was a bonus, and I appreciated having access to the garden and patio. The owner, Barry, was pleasant and attentive throughout my stay. I highly recommend 1885 Suites for a wonderful and comfortable experience.

While my stay at 1885 Suites was exceptional, there were a few minor drawbacks. However, the owner was present upon my arrival, so it did not cause any major inconvenience.

Clean, comfortable suite in quiet neighborhood. Upgraded, renovated space with separate bathroom. Full size refrigerator, attentive host. Returning for proximity to Main Street and Benson Park.

The property was clean and the room was nicely decorated. The venue was set in a very central position, close to the garden and patio, Prince Edward County, and a quiet area. It was also in a tree-lined neighborhood of other beautiful historic homes. Everything met my needs well, and I would definitely use them next time.

We recently stayed at The 1885 Suites for a weekend getaway. Barry, our welcoming and friendly host, made our experience even better. The suite was beautifully decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The location was perfect, just a short walk from great restaurants and a short drive from other attractions. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The suite I stayed in, Suite "C", was beautifully upgraded and renovated. It had a comfortable bed and a separate bathroom, which I liked. The location of the suites was great, just a short walk to Main Street and all the wonderful coffee shops, ice cream parlors, and restaurants in Picton. It was also close to Benson Park and served as a perfect base for day trips in Prince Edward County.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at a perfect location, just a 10-15 minute walk from the Prince Edward Yacht Club.

Although we never received instructions regarding the room entry code in advance, the owner was thankfully there upon our arrival to assist us. Booking directly with 1885 Suites may be a suggestion to avoid this inconvenience in the future.
